About Us

The Academy is a Performing Arts Saturday School for 7 - 18 year olds.

We are based in Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy in Llanrwst and run weekly classes in Acting, Singing and Dancing.

Time : Classes start at 10am and finish at 1pm.

Classes are 50 minutes long with a ten minute break between classes.

Classes are held during term time* only. During holidays The Academy may run workshops like ‘West End Weekend’ and ‘Stage and Screen’ at an extra charge, though with a discount for all Academy members.

When possible ‘The Academy’ will invite guest teachers who are currently working in the West End and in Television and Film.

There will be an ‘Academy Show’ at the end of the Summer Term.

In the future The Academy will produce several shows during the year.

* Private Acting and Singing lessons are available during the week and Saturday afternoons.
